Gay males do not get tested for Human Papilloma Virus which is a cancer causing virus.Young women a jab for free at the age of 11-26 where as if you are past this age it cost around about £300. Also most Doctors will not screen men for HPV and in our Personal opinion we think that that's disgusting. HPV is contracted by skin to skin contact not just sexual contact. 8% of Gay men have the virus. A condom won't protect you. The way to protect your body is to get the jab. This virus is not a matter of sexuality, age, race or gender, if you contract the virus you are at risk of developing cancer. Gay, straight or bi-sexual, we should all come together to raise awareness and try to stop this virus becoming a serious issue and killer of people who are vunerable.
