Me (Chloe Winterbourne) and my two friends Jemma Gersok and Sharon Gaffka are trying to create awareness of HPV jabs for boys. You may think that only girls can get Cervical cancer but your wrong. Just because boys don't own a vagina that doesn't mean they can't get it. For a boy to have a course of jabs (3 in total) it will cost roughly £400, but i know that some people don't have money like that to throw around so this is why we are trying to get them to become free and avaliable on the NHS. There is a brand of vacination called Gardasil to prevent the most common caused by HPV in men.

I was looking at the screen and honestly just started crying because it feels like people are finally listening to what we have been shouting about. This is so much bigger than just a few friends trying to pay for Gardasil and I am still trying to catch my breath after seeing the momentum building up today.

Keep pushing for this. Its about time the NHS covers this for boys too. HPV is a serious issue for everyone and 400 quid is way too much for a family to just cough up.
My son needs this protection too. Its ridiculous that we have to pay private prices for something that should just be standard health care for all kids.
