We are sending this petition to request adjusting the last day of this school year or to find plan B for kids and families who need to end the school by June 5th.
Please note that the last day of school will be on 19th of June after 9 days of Eid Al-Adha break. Simply we will go back to school for 5 days after Eid instead of ending the school on June 5th and adding 2 full weeks to summer break.
We all know that our kids will not focus at school and do exams after Eid Al-Adha break. They will not be in the mood to go back to school Plus that they will need to study during that break and we can’t travel during Eid. This will cause conflicts between parents and kids and will prevent many families from getting together during Eid Al-Adha as many parents are out of Jordan.
Most of IAA families travel in summer for long time.
We suggest:
1- reducing midterm break by 1 day
2- reducing Eid Al-Fitr break by 2 days
3- reducing the spring break by 2 days
Or plan B:
Alternative plan for the group of kids who need to finish school before Eid.
Can the school provide another form for final exams and let the students do them before Eid.
This is a common request that includes many IAA families and not based on individual requests.

I believe that students should finish school and final exams on the 5th of June before Eid Aladha as students will not concentrate on studying for their exams .
Yes please let’s finish the year before June 5 Does not make sense to come back for 5 school days. I have 3 children 9th grade 7th grade 3rd grade
I would prefer if the last day is before Eid Al Adha as kids will not have the will to study
I have 3 kids: Talal Haddadin grade 4D Jude Haddadin grade 8A Alanood Haddadin grade 4D
