Children in the Sioux City Community Schools (SCCS) should never be denied a hot lunch should their parents forget to refill their account or become unable to pay for a lunch. Please sign this petition to ensure that kids in the SCCS will not have to be called out in front of their peers and be offered a peanut butter shamewich in lieu of the hot lunch that has already been prepared for them.

please share with your friends and family, I remember when I forgot to inform my mom of needing a lunch ticket and was given a peanut butter sandwich... plus what happens if the child has a peanut allergy?

No kid should be shamed in front of their peers.

An "adult problem" should never be a child's problem! Policies like these make me sick to my stomach. Imagine yourself in these children's shoes. ....

No child should be denied a hot lunch no matter the situation.

This is not the child's fault, do not punish them for the parent's errors.
