we actually did it and the school is getting rid of reading plus. i cant believe we dont have to deal with those awful stories anymore. thanks for sticking with me on this because we finally got the result we wanted.

Reading plus is a stupid website to "help" kids in reading. It, in fact, does not help. Reading plus causes stress. Students are required to read an amount of stories and are expected to get an 80% or higher on it. This is very hard considering the questions are worded badly and it's very hard to focus on your story. Reading plus has caused tears and bad grades for nearly everyone. Its very hard on us students. I had 217 words per minute and then, with the stupid guided window, my words per minute went down...it sucks. Shut it down!! IT'S BORING!
Reading plus doesn't help!!! It only makes us worse. My reading level dropped from a 12.5 to a 10.0 because of reading plus!
Reading Plus is a complete and utter waste of time. I would much rather read a novel of my choice than read Reading Plus stories. Sure, you might get one or two interesting stories, but most of them are incredibly boring. Reading Plus is a useless site that tries so hard to be better than an actual book, but doesn't even come close!
I never have time to do my reading plus because we barely get time at school so my reading grade is really low.. i'm usually top in my reading class and because i don't have time to do my reading plus i have a C..
Reading plus is terrible. I'm a straight A student and it almost brought me to a B. My average was 67% and that is so not like me! It's almost impossible to get my stories done.

It needs to stop. All parents should try it and see what a horrible platform and assignments their children have to deal with. Reading plus easily can cause frustration, anxiety, depression in our children and due to its visual format-- even can cause seizures
