We are petitioning to put an end to the restrictions that Westfield School system is trying to enforce for graduation. There are no restrictions in on the State of NJ for indoor/outdoor gatherings. We demand 100% capacity, availability for all friends and family who would like to attend the graduation.

The board office told me they are still reviewing the protocols though I honestly have no idea what there is to review when the state already cleared everything for us. I have been fielding so many calls from parents who are just as confused and honestly kind of fed up as I am. We are still pushing forward because graduation should be about having everyone there together.

WHS should comply with NJ state guidelines and allow full capacity for outdoor graduation and not the 50% capacity they are limiting it to.
There is no reason for these restrictions as they have all been lifted in NJ. I thought we were supposed to be following the science? Siblings and grandparents should be allowed to share this special day!
Mask requirements have been lifted throughout NJ and the CDC have said for a long while now that outdoors is safe for gatherings. I see no reason why an outdoor graduation needs to be limited at all.
It’s been a tough year for the grandparents they need something to look forward to!
Dr. Dolan, please use the available data at your disposal. No need for restrictions in outdoor facilities. Keep these kids back some of what they’ve lost!!
Graduation is a celebration of all the hard work these kids have accomplished don't denied them what they been waiting for

Restrictions for outdoors have been lifted. Most people in WF are vaccinated. What’s their excuse now! Kids have already had a tough year. Let them have their loved ones be a part of this special moment!
