This is a petition with the intentions of removing the limitations on the number of guests allowed for each Mobile County Public School graduate of the Class of 2013. As this mandate was given only three months prior to the date of graduation, graduates have already ordered invitations and many family members/friends have already made travel plans to attend. The Mobile County Public School System prides itself in encouraging students to graduate from high school, so they should not belittle our success by passing such a last minute mandate that limits the number of people who can be present in the celebration of our achievements. It's not a time to pick and choose our guests - making it more stressful than necessary; it's a time to celebrate our 13 years of education coming to an end and to celebrate the accomplishments of each MCPSS Class of 2013 graduate. THE SIGNERS OF THIS PETITION REQUEST THIS LIMITATION FOR THE NUMBER OF GUEST TO BE REMOVED FOR THE GRADUATING CLASS OF 2013.
