We reached 250 signatures today. I am drafting a formal letter to the administration to request a meeting regarding these graduation regulations.

Grad is the final fairwell to Earl Marriott. Restricting what can be done on a night thats going to be the last time they see their peers is ridiculous considering all year you call them young adults but now treat them as children. Hold the individuals accountable for their mistakes. Not everyone
Being an EMS alumni, I can tell any readers of this forum that the pre grad festivities make or break the rest of the night. I can also tell you that wether you take a bus, a limo or public transportation the drugs and the booze will still find a way into the livers of those who wish to consume such a thing. It's the students choice wether or not to incorporate illicit substances into their grad night. Unfortunately there is nothing constitutional that any school or school board can enact in order to halt such behaviour. But I'm just callin' it how I see it.
it's not just unfair, it's wrong to take away the privileges of the masses because of mistakes of the few. there's going to be mistakes from a few kids each year, but that's out of hundreds. we should be allowed dances!
Limos are part of the grad experience! Has been for years. Teaching the kids to be responsible sounds much better than making them feel like prisoners.
Our grad year marks our transition to adulthood. I find it surprising that the EMS admin are reluctant to trust a wonderful group of students to make their own way to dry grad responsibly and safely, yet trust us to go on and start our adult lives. We are not last years class.
i find it admirable that the students are working to create a change in a civil manner. Learning to speak up for what you want is important way to go grads keep it up

Students have a right to have their opinions considered in matters which directly affect them, the freedom of transportation should be up to the students on how they choose to arrive at events
