Emerson College students are very good at complaining about a vast array of perceived issues; however, they lack the skills to complain effectively. Because of this, the students' complaints are not reaching the ears of those who can implement change.
I'm calling for the Division of Student Affairs to arrange a series of workshops to properly educate the student population on how to craft a petition. I would like at least two (2) workshops to be held before the end of the semester on April 26th, 2016 as to allow the students ample time to brood over the summer break. The workshops should, at minimum, properly instruct Emerson Students on how to draft, proofread, and distribute a petition in order to maximize the audience, and therefore, the effectiveness of said petition so we can stop standing outside of Ansin and yelling straight up.
