I have been spending my nights reviewing your comments about why local representation in our language matters so much. These stories confirm exactly why we need a station that reflects our own culture and struggles in the Eastern Cape. Behind the scenes I am busy organizing our formal proposal to ensure our application shows the true weight of this community support.

Seeing this level of support for Emakhaya TV truly humbles me because it proves how many of our people want to see our own languages and stories reflected on screen. We have built real momentum that shows the authorities we are ready to claim our own space in the broadcasting landscape.

I support the community TV licence for the Ingquza Development Agenda. As a General manager for two tea estates in OR Tambo region covering 2500 hectares, this community TV will profile and position this company and the region as critical player in development space.
This tv station will be very useful as the majority of us are running small businesses in the Ingquza region. Marketing done through the this tv channel will help us get a much desired publicity and obtain more potential customers. This will also result in job creation which is in line with the Presidential strategy to recover and boost our economy.
We need our own televission station where we will tell our own stories in the language that we best understand.
Bring it home we are really deserving having it more especially due to our culture as the moondo natiin and to show off our upcoming infrastructure development and eco tourism the beauty of the Pondoland or coastal belt
The area of ORT is a formerly disadvantaged area reach in arts,culture and heritage as well as things of national interest which never get media coverage. This would be a very developmental and progressive move.
