1. The current deadline is negatively impacting final examinations, as we cannot allocate time to produce a substantial paper while simultaneously preparing for final exams.

2. It is unfair that students should have to weigh a 15% paper against 50%-80% Final examinations, a number of which occur around the existing deadline.

3. Additional stress is currently placed on ECNG 3016 students, whom are unsuccessfully trying to balance final exam preparations along with other coursework due before the final exam.

We know you have been very accommodating and we greatly appreciate it, but the load with other courses has really prevented us from working on the paper as we would have liked. We believe that no coursework should interfere intellectually and emotionally with the already stressful atmosphere created by final examinations, thus deadlines should be placed before or after the examination period, which is why we suggest the new deadline date of May 15th.
