My 10 year old daughter, had her ears pierced in April this year, and was told by Clair's accessories, she had to leave them in for six months. She went to use her ear tape, in p e, and was told by her teacher, that they are not allowed to wear the ear tape any more, so she either had to take the earrings out, or not do p e. Essex county council, have introduced a ban on earrings being worn for p e and swimming lessons, both of which are in the national curicument. My child is going to miss out, all for the sake of not being allowed to wear ear tape. It's health and safety gone mad again.
