This oetition is here to collect signature's to force the city to enforce DMV code on the e-bikes. We have a very dangerous situation with kids riding the bike some of them with 2 or 3 people on them with no helmets.
the rider must be 16 if it can do 20 and 18 with a m1 liscense if can go faster. please support me in getting to crack down.

Saw a kid fly through the intersection on mission blvd yesterday without looking and almost got creamed. cops need to start ticketing these parents asap before someone gets killed
These e-bikes and riders are a danger to themselves, motorists, and pedestrians. Time to enforce the code

Two teens on one singular e bike failed to yield when turning left on an unprotected turning yield and ran right into my car (I was driving straight on) had I been a distracted driver or going over the speed limit things would have been bad. If teens are driving on the road and do not know rules and regulations then it is an accident waiting to happen. There is no accountability and no one to hold liable due to these e bikes not needed insurance or having a license plate.
