The feedback from local drivers has been overwhelming and confirms that these road pricing plans are completely out of touch with our actual needs. I am spending today drafting formal complaints to the city council to demand they drop this scheme immediately. Fed up with being treated like a cash cow every time I drive into town. Stop this now.
The local shops are struggling enough as it is. Adding a charge will just kill the high street completely.
DURHAM IS ALREADY A NIGHTMARE TO DRIVE AROUND. DONT MAKE IT WORSE WITH TOLLS.
i live just outside the city and this will make it impossible for me to get to work without paying just to exist. leave us alone

Just another way for the council to bleed us dry while doing nothing about the actual traffic flow. Fix the potholes first.
