The city blinked and officially dropped the fines so the gate is staying put where it belongs. I am actually shaking a little bit typing this because it just felt like such an uphill climb but 504 of you really helped push this over the finish line. We should keep …
Dog The Bounty Hunter, his Wife Beth, and the rest of the Chapmans have done an incredible service to not only the city of Honolulu, but the United States of America as a whole. Now, the city that honored them for their service back in 2007, is now fining them 50 dollars a day until the gate is removed, and threatening more action if the gate is not removed in 30 days. The gate is alleged to be 2 feet too tall, and an advertisement. This is ridiculous. What an incredible dis-service this would be to the Chapmans if they were forced to remove this Gate that was made for Dog from his Wife Beth. We need as many signatures to support this cause and let the Chapmans, who protect our country every day, keep their gate.
I was just looking at the count and we are nearly at 500 which is wild because I really did not think this would take off like it has. If everyone reading this would just send the link to a few people in their contacts we could definitely hit that number by tonight and show the city that we actually care about this gate.

Total waste of tax payer money to go after a gate. Stop harassing the chapmans already.

Ridiculous overreach. They do so much for the community and this is how they get treated? Let the gate stay.

This is completely ridiculous! The city has way bigger things to worry about than a gate. Leave them alone.
