Parents, students, friends and families would like to see drivers education reinstated at Powell High School. Tennessee leads the nation in teen deaths from automobile accidents. Powell high school has had numerous deaths from automobile accidents. Every student will drive in life. It is our job to give them the skills to do it safely.

I am currently gathering data on local teen driving statistics to present to the school board. Please email your local board representative today to demand that they meet with me. We have to keep applying pressure to get these courses back in our classrooms.

I think it is such a needed class, young drivers need a concentrated study before taking to the wheel. I think it is very important.
Please strongly consider adding drivers education to the curriculum at powell high school!

As the parent of two sons who will soon be of driving age I feel this is a program that is imperative for our community.
