I have spent hours reading through your comments and the stories about the accidents you have witnessed are heartbreaking. It is clear that we all want the same thing because no one should have to lose a child to a preventable tragedy on the road. I am currently reaching out to local representatives to ensure your concerns are finally taken seriously.

Seeing this kind of momentum brings me back to the night we lost our neighbor in that wreck. Knowing that so many of you see the same danger on our roads gives me real hope for a change that could save lives.

About time someone did something about this. I see kids on their phones all the time while driving near the high school.
scary to even get on the highway anymore. way too many reckless kids behind the wheel.
Agree 100%. Driving requires maturity which most kids just dont have yet. Save lives and wait a few more years.
my daughter was in a bad wreck last month because of a distracted teen driver. please make them wait until they are older.
Insurance rates are proof enough that they shouldnt be on the road. wait till 18.

16 is just too young. barely even have a handle on life yet let alone a 3000 pound vehicle. raises the age now!!
