The undersigned demand that the South Coast Air Quality Management District and the El Segundo City Council and Embarcadero Capital Partners, LLC take all measures to eliminate the toxic air contaminants that are currently planned to be released from 701 S. Aviation Blvd.: benzene, ethyl benzene, methylene chloride, toluene and xylene. This will help protect the health of all living things, including the students and staff of our Kindergarten through 8th grade school, Da Vinci Innovation Academy at 13500 Aviation Blvd., Hawthorne, CA 90250. Currently NO measures are in place to control or limit the release of these known toxins, including the carcinogen benzene. We demand elimination of the above mentioned toxins from the site at 701 S. Aviation Blvd., El Segundo, CA 90245 before releasing the exhaust into the larger environment. Thank you for not polluting and for caring for our children, for our staff and for the environment.

The sheer weight of this support shows Embarcadero Capital Partners that they cannot simply poison our children to save a few dollars. Watching this momentum build proves that the people of El Segundo and Hawthorne are done tolerating these toxic exhaust fumes.

These toxins should go through a scrubber before being released to the atmosphere. Venting without cleaning is an irresponsible activity and should not be allowed.
It's a crime that this info was not more widely spread by official. They keep it obscure. And a shame that this kind of thing even has to be a issue. Officials need to be far more diligent to protect people and take proper measures before it even has to come to petitioning.
We already have too many children suffering from leukemia in this area. Don't let it get worse.
My child attends elementary school in close proximity to this location. I walk along Aviation several times a week. I do not want to breathe in any pollution and contaminants released from 701 S. Aviation Blvd.
We hope to open a tutoring program near Da Vinci in El Segundo. but don't if it means exposing children to these harmful toxins. Please protect our children and families as well as all the workers in that area.

There are schools and homes within just a few feet of this address. Any work must done with the utmost consideration for the living things, especially the children, in this vicinity. Every precaution must be taken!
