Competing in sports will be impossible in a 2 A school. We are getting local students from the other area high school in our district because we have such a good academic school. Don't punish us.

Please refrain from saying anything negative about children or other schools on this petition. This is not about consolidation. It is solely about trying to make sure Dixie athletics are competing in a fair and balanced environment. We will continue to fight for what we believe is right until the final decision is made. As a 2002 graduate, this small, family like school, was the best experience I could ever have. Making it bigger will lose the family like atmosphere. Keep Dixie 1A!!

C/O 2014 As a former athlete at Dixie, this is the worst move that could be made, playing against teams like abbeville with stocked rosters and just better competition could be very demoralizing to the players.

I feel that moving Dixie to 2A is not a good move! They never have had enough players. On the football team to have an offense and a defense! This will not be good for the young me that play both sides of the line! This could cause many, many injuries!

This is a not a good idea for the student athletes and coaches of Dixie or for the Due West-Donalds community.

I would like to see Dixie stay a 1 A school!!!
