I understand the enrollment of the different classifications. I have coached in South Carolina for 34 years. I just think it is in Dixie best interest to be a single A school.

As a 2002 grad of Dixie I say leave Dixie 1A. Dixie is a small school and it would crush the moral of the students if they had to play bigger schools. Keep Dixie 1A

We lose some many kids, if we move up and I'll probably be one cause I'm not going to put my life at risk against those bigger schools.

Please refrain from saying anything negative about children or other schools on this petition. This is not about consolidation. Actually, based on this realignment plan, there will be 6 schools smaller than Dixie in AA. Dixie is much closer in size to Abbeville than they are Calhoun Falls. They are well over 3 times bigger than the Blue Flashes

Classes do not get bigger because of what sports classification you are put in. Your classification goes up because of how many students you already have
