It has been brought to our attention that Mr. Lupinacci will not be returning to Ramaz next year. While we are unaware of the exact details of his departure, we, the current students and alumni of Ramaz, wanted to take this opportunity to express our shock and disappointment at the prospect of losing such an important, respected and valued member of the Ramaz community. Over the past 9 years, Mr. Lupinacci has made an impact on over 1,000 students and is especially well known for making all students feel comfortable and confident. He goes above and beyond his classroom teaching responsibilities serving as a mentor who inspires all students who interact with him.
We, the undersigned, are deeply disappointed with the decision resulting in his departure. We believe Mr. Lupinacci is one of the school’s strongest assets as well as a key reason students are interested in coming to Ramaz in the first place. We urge the administration to reconsider this extremely upsetting decision and to weigh the loss that will be felt by students who will no longer be able to learn from him.
