On Monday January 14th my bandmate Steuart Pittman made a flyer for our upcoming shows at Lost Weekend Video on February 1st and 17th.  Unfortunately, he accidentally wrote our name "Sad Vicious" upside down on the flyer so that it is almost totally illegible.  Because of this mistake Stu has gone into a terrible downward spiral.  You see, these shows are kind of our big break as a band: the first show is with Sketchfest and the second one we are opening for Ron Lynch who is a total badass, you should look him up.  Anyway, Stu feels like he ruined our chances with these guys (which is probably true, but don't say that to him, not right now, not while he's so f'ed up).  He's concerned that they might be thinking "Look, if these guys don't care enough about their artform, about their craft, to write their own name right side up on their own flyer, then how can I, in good faith support their artistic endeavours?"  I've been going back and forth with Stu all week but he's incorrigible.  I just don't know what to do so I thought to ask you for help.  By signing this petition you are saying "Stu, cut it out, you need to stop obsessing on this!  I'm sure that in a year or two, after the dust settles, no one will even remember "The Catastrophically Bad Sad Vicious Flyer Incident!"  This is not your "Kramer Moment" if that's what you are thinking!"  By signing this petition you are clearly communicating to Stu that "Stu, you need to STOP IT!  This is not THAT big of a deal!  You may have burned your band's bridges with this batch of people but another group will eventually come along!  And I assume that you are probably feeling very shameful and selfish and cruel and childish and stupid right now, but this needs to STOP!!! I'm sorry that this is all going down so publicly, and it probably only makes you feel worse, but this needs to end NOW because we love you and we support you!!!"
