Support the responsible location of an off leash area (Dog Park) in downtown Phoenix, and
Urge the City of Phoenix decision-makers to reject locating the off leash area (Dog Park) either temporarily or permanently in the area of Margaret T. Hance (Deck Park) located on the south side of Culver Street between 3rd Avenue and 5th Avenue.

I have spent my mornings walking through Hance Park to see exactly how crowded it already gets on a typical weekend. We deserve to keep our green spaces open for everyone to use safely instead of sacrificing them for a poorly planned dog run.

Seeing this level of support confirms that my neighbors care just as deeply about preserving our shared green space as I do. We have created real momentum to protect the Hance Park area from this misguided plan.

The deck park is meant for community events and picnics, not dog mess everywhere. Find somewhere else for the dogs.

Total disaster waiting to happen. Traffic is bad enough already without adding a dog park to the mix. Bad idea city hall!
