Like many other people who call beautiful Puerto Aventuras home, we love our community and we also love our pets.
Como muchas otras personas que vivimos en bello Puerto Aventuras, amamos a nuestra comunidad y también amamos a nuestras mascotas.
We are thrilled that as part of the revised plans for Phase 4 that a dog-park is planned. However we are dismayed to learn from the annual meeting notes that it will only be 0.3acres in size! That's way too small!
Estamos encantados de que como parte de los planes revisados para la Fase 4 se planee un parque para perros. Sin embargo, estamos consternados de aprender de las notas anuales de la reunión que sólo tendrá 0.3acres de tamaño! Eso es demasiado pequeño!
As a comparison, 10 times that area is being set aside for the outdoor gymnasium. I am sure that many people will enjoy the gym and we are not complaining. We would just like a similar amount of space set aside for our four-legged friends and their owners so that we finally can have somewhere that man's best friend can run freely and blow off some energy.
Como comparación, 10 veces esa área se está reservando para el gimnasio al aire libre. Estoy seguro de que muchas personas disfrutarán del gimnasio y no nos estamos quejando. Nos gustaría una cantidad similar de espacio reservado para nuestros amigos de cuatro patas y sus propietarios para que finalmente podamos tener en algún lugar que el mejor amigo del hombre puede correr libremente y quemar algo de energía.
Many people in our community do wonderful things for street and rescue animals, let's complete the circle by petitioning for a reasonable space for our new dog-park!
Muchas personas en nuestra comunidad hacen cosas maravillosas para los animales de la calle y de rescate, vamos a completar el círculo mediante la petición de un espacio razonable para nuestro nuevo parque para perros!

The momentum behind this is undeniable and the developers can no longer pretend we are just a small group of annoyed pet owners. We have proven that the community demands real space for our dogs and this pressure is starting to sting the people at the top who thought they could ignore us.

Having an appropriate sized dog park for local residents not only provides huge benefits for your citizens but it also speak volumes to visiting tourists. Show international visitors that your beautiful community of Puerto Aventura knows how to treat it's canines. As you are likely aware, the humane treatment of pets and local animals is a prominent topic all over the world. Parks for sitting or outdoor exercise are lovely, but there is virtually nothing available for dogs. Not only will you discover a dog park will be widely used hut it promotes a strong sense of community and friendship among those who frequent them. Thank-you for taking the time to read my input.
A proper dog run would be a wonderful asset to our community while simultaneously increasing our property values. Therefore it must be a proper size to accommodate our growing community.
Indeed more space is needed. After spending the last 12 months planning and investigating a dog park, this is NOT enough space.
Love the idea of a bigger Dog park, I will not use gym and looking at everything from a maintenance issue outside gym equipments deteriorate very quickly especially in areas near the ocean, maintaining this will not be cheap.
We have 4 dogs and we will love to have a fair sized dog park. We will not use the outside gym,
