Whereas John Morgan"s dog Brutus, has bitten Larry Keith, Sr. while walking in the neighborhood and has also exhibited violent attacks against other dogs in our community. We hereby express our formal desire to have Brutus permanently removed from our neighborhood.Effective this day, July 14th, 2008.

My arm is still healing and the fear in this neighborhood remains palpable every time we step outside our front doors. I have been spending my evenings talking to neighbors who are afraid to walk their own pets because they worry about another encounter with Brutus. We deserve to feel safe in our own backyards again.

Seeing this level of support confirms that our neighborhood fears are valid and my own worry for our safety is shared by many of you. It is a relief to know that so many neighbors refuse to accept these violent encounters as the new normal for our street.

My poodle was attacked by that dog last month. Totally unprovoked too. Ridiculous that we have to live like this.

This dog is a nightmare. I stopped taking my kids to the park because I am genuinely scared of him. Something bad is going to happen if he stays.
