Woodstock City Council has come to a decision to remove a coyote that has been "harassing" a homeowner in the city of Woodstock. It is stated that if the coyote cannot be relocated within 1 km of its current location, it will be put down. It is one thing to protect the people of the city, it's another thing to harm an innocent animal that has not threatened nor harmed anyone. As human beings, we should be able to co-exist with other living beings/animals and deal with matters like this in a humane way. We ask that no matter what the situation is with trapping and relocating, that the animal is returned into the wild unharmed. Please take your time to sign this petition to stop Woodstock City Council from harming this animal in any way, shape or form. Even if you are not a Woodstock resident, but you too feel that putting down this animal is wrong and inhumane, please PLEASE sign this petition.
