Woodstock City Council has come to a decision to remove a coyote that has been "harassing" a homeowner in the city of Woodstock. It is stated that if the coyote cannot be relocated within 1 km of its current location, it will be put down. It is one thing to protect the people of the city, it's another thing to harm an innocent animal that has not threatened nor harmed anyone. As human beings, we should be able to co-exist with other living beings/animals and deal with matters like this in a humane way. We ask that no matter what the situation is with trapping and relocating, that the animal is returned into the wild unharmed. Please take your time to sign this petition to stop Woodstock City Council from harming this animal in any way, shape or form. Even if you are not a Woodstock resident, but you too feel that putting down this animal is wrong and inhumane, please PLEASE sign this petition. Animals do not have a voice, so let us be there voice and protect them.

I never imagined so many people would care about this coyote as much as I do. Reading your messages has been truly overwhelming because it confirms that kindness is still our priority. I am just trying to make sure this animal stays safe and it is your passion that keeps this movement going.

This animal can be relocated safely without killing it. This animal has not harmed anyone and should be relocated in a humane way. There is already enough violence in this world. Prove to the world that we as Canadians are even peace keepers in our own land!!!
relocate it its wildlife we should all know better then bugging it to try and get a reaction from it

How inhumane!!!! And selfish!!!! Killing an innocent animal because they bug you is WRONG.
