Home owners and residents of JLT have recently been suffering from DMCC's 3 hour parking rule!

The parking spaces are already limited across the clusters and with this useless rule, people are double parking and blocking other cars too.

This was bearable across clusters that housed offices mainly, but it makes absolutely no sense when it comes to clusters that are only residential.

Not only is it unfair and makes no sense, it violates the residents' rights to have guests in their own homes for over 3 hours or else they'll be fined 200 AED!! What if people have guests from outside the country for a while? Or coming to visit from another city for only the weekend? Or even happen to want to stay for over 3 hours?

Are we meant to kick them out after that time? Tell them they're not welcome after 3 hours?

We all pay very good money to live in this community and we should NOT accept this in anyway. DMCC want to restrict parkings, they should build parking lots around the community instead of more towers to make more money.

Let's try and make a difference for our community and get our full rights as residents, as home owners and as human beings in 2015!!
