The momentum behind this initiative has grown far beyond my initial expectations. It is clear that many people recognize the severe damage these machines inflict upon our communities.

My mate lost a whole months pay in 30 minutes and the staff offered him a coffee to keep playing
Bookmakers are vermin . What people don't know is that not only do they have these machines that make them over £1million a day but they do not take a decent bet on the horses anymore . I used to make a good living out of betting horses but the machines have put paid to that as bookmakers can't be bothered to be bookmakers anymore as the machines account for over 50% of their profit and it's easy money that requires no thought . Bookmakers want it all one way . Stop this NOW !!
Hi I have been addicted to gambling for 20 years mostly horse and dog racing but have begun to stop gambling through use of Fobt machines. These are truly bad for any gambler.
I have seen these machines ruin so many lives, I used to work in a betting shop and seen people at rock bottom through gambling on these machines, also from a personal side I have seen it ruin 2 of my family's lives resulting in one if them losing their house!!! They need banning!!!

I have seen these machines ruin so many lives, I used to work in a betting shop and seen people at rock bottom through gambling on these machines, also from a personal side I have seen it ruin 2 of my family's lives resulting in one if them losing their house!!! They need banning!!!
