The Hobart community is asking to have the Fred Rose Park transformed into a dog park to bring the community together. The dog park would be separated between small dogs and larger dogs. For example, small dogs would have a large fenced in area to run and play, and large dogs would have a larger fenced in area to run and play as well. By separating the sizes we are able to keep our precious fur babies more safe. To make this happen we need handfuls upon handfuls to agree. People keep telling me that Fred Rose Park is the only logical spot for this community space. I am currently reaching out to local planning offices to request a meeting about the fence requirements. Go to our Facebook page to see the latest draft of our layout plan and text the link to three neighbors today.

fred rose park is perfect for this. my dog is way too small to play with the big ones at the regular park and i worry he will get hurt.
We shouldn't have to travel to other towns for our furbabies to get to play with other pups. Hobart needs a dog park!

There is a lot of money being spent in Hobart. A dog park would be a great addition to the community
