I was so excited to see a library open in Diamondhead. It was a beautiful facility. It seems a horrible waste of taxpayer money to build that beautiful building, stock it and staff it, and then close it within a couple of years.
We need to keep library open. People that cannot afford Wi-Fi they go to Library to job search,apply for grants, and do research. And talk to their family on faceback
The future of a community revolves around the education of its members. If you want a strong, progressive, and prepared community, you must put money into education. What better way to serve those who elected you than giving them back their library. I urge you to reopen this library.
We used the library ALL the time!! I have school-aged children (7 and 10) who checked out books weekly for AR at school. I used it a lot too! Completely ludicrous to close down such a nice, new facility! There is a way to raise the needed funds...Diamondhead has it! Open our library back up! Please and THANK You!
I moved to Diamondhead from Oklahoma this summer and didn't even know there was a great library until a neighbor told me. It needs advertising, a great sign, some good programs that help bring in the crowds to be successful. Please bring it back!
This would've been great facility for my family & friends when we were growing up in Diamondhead. Hope the community can make this happen!

Please reopen our library. Books & hands on reading material need to be available. I am a Diamondhead resident & I'll happily donate my time to our library!!!
