It has come to the attention of students at Deming High School that the
school-based health center that was once available is continually disapproved
to be reopened. There are multitudes of reasons as to why it would be beneficial
to reopen the health center. One major reason as to why a school-based health
center is greatly preferred by the students is because of the extensive
services it provides, along with privacy. Students will be able to receive
private, supportive services for mental health, nutrition, substance abuse, and
reproductive health services with the professionalism, convenience, and safety
that Deming High School's grounds provide.

We, the undersigned, are concerned citizens who urge our leaders to act now to reopen
the school-based health center at Deming High School.
