We, the citizens of Kittitas County, are opposed to turning the county into a
regional waste processing center for other counties.
Therefore, the following petitioners call on elected officials to DENY ANY
LEASE of Kittitas County land for the purposes of siting industrial sewage
sludge and waste processing (“composting”).

i have been spending all my time looking at the land use proposals and honestly the lack of transparency is starting to feel real intentional. dont let them think we are just going to look the other way while they turn our county into a dumping ground.

i honestly cant believe how fast this is growing. seeing so many people speak up for our land makes me feel like we actually have a shot at stopping this.

this is absolutely disgusting. i didnt move here to live next to a giant pile of waste. please do better.

RIDICULOUS. Why would they even consider this?? Property values will tank and the smell will be terrible.
Stop selling us out for these cheap leases. We have to live here not the guys in office.
Keep our county clean. We dont need to be the dumping ground for the rest of the state. Say no.
