Always we receive e-mails talking about changes that we chose and were implemented by deliveroo but never do we have anyone asking for our opinion for decisions taken by deliveroo.
Now, we have a new change called booking zones . We are not allowed to freely login and have to book time in zones where we want to work but are not guaranteed anything if we don't get any orders in that booking session. We have to notify deliveroo 24 hours before about booking cancellation whether be it we are sick, having flat tyre or accident and nothing is taken in consideration while giving priority access to riders. Riders are being treated unequally by allowing those riders who work as slaves without getting paid to book priority sessions. We have to now predict what will happen now in future for next week because we can't cancel the shift if something urgent happens like a flat tyre for example. If we do that, our booking priority percentage decreases and maybe we can't get the same shift or any next week. Really stressful.

We are the heart of this system and someone must listen to us.
We want that the old system is implemented back or we atleast receive minimum guaranteed rate independent of the zone we work . We can't just wait in zones without earning money and wasting our time and effort and earning 10 dollars per hour not even that in the extreme heat of sun or rains/cold.
This is not fair.

I really did not think this would gain this much steam when I first hit publish on my phone while waiting for an order in the heat. It is wild to see so many of you feeling the exact same burnout and stress about these zones because honestly the system feels broken right now.

Had another week with no hours booked to work, can't get enough hours to bring my stats up. It's a viscious cycle. All because of one flat tyre. I don't think I can afford food next week.
Utter garbage, system flawed, 100 stats, 11am booking, request weekly...... Guess what no shifts given to me. Thanks deliveroo for this was a self employed
I want the old system to be back or please make some changes like resetting the statistics for every 14days period so that every one can get equal shifts
We want a free login system, is a casual job i can't plan my week in advance, we need flexibility
I PREFER OLD SYSTEM OF DELIVEROO TO WORK, BEFORE I DID MUCH MORE DELIVERIES, THATS IS GOOD FOR THE COMPANY AND FOR ME. Now is so dificult take shift and my earnings down considerate.
Free Login system is a lot more better than other options.
It's so much easier and like Uber I can't just log in.

Before I used to work with pizza shop I will get hourly 20 dollars with their own Petrol and own motorbike I left that joined in Deliveroo because I can work any time and unlimited time but now this change make me to back to my previous job
