The so called "new road" is not even a road...the State of CT simply relocated our entrance which is still on Rt 4 (Farmington Ave.). The entrance terminates in our parking lot and therefore we should be able to retain our existing business address. The suggestion of Pennington Lane or Road sounds too much like a residential address and is not appropriate for our business use. Finally, the change of address will create financial hardships for our owners due to printing costs, time and labor.

I agree that as the 12 plus business that make up Farmington Commons must have a say in this process of naming a town road as we are the ones that will most directly impacted.

We are the first business condo association in CT, paying taxes since 1976. Change in address is very expensive for small business owners. If we have to change it should be suitable to all. Perhaps Brookside Commons, Barney Brook, Parsons Corner

Are you kidding? If you really need to make up a name, how about Farmington Commons Road? That is what is on it. There isn't a "Pennington" in sight on this half of downtown FARMINGTON!

This "new road" is a new entrance to our parking lot, there is no need for a new name. Farmington Commons has been in town since the 1980's. In addition, an address change is not inexpensive. You are costing many small business owners, who have been paying taxes to the town of Farmington, thousands of dollars in unnecessary expenses. Please, support your small tax paying businesses and leave our address unchanged.

I request the town give us more time to accept a new name for the road, and allow present property owners the ability to present names.
