I am trying to organise a Half Marathon in Deeside for the begining of April 2014. I feel that before I approach the local authorities with any plans I want to get a feel of how many people would be interested in entering this type of event. If there is a lot of interest it will help me present a better argument for the event. Thanks Pete

The volume of interest has reached a point where I am finalizing the formal proposal for the local council. I have scheduled a preliminary briefing with the regional sports department to discuss the logistics of the requested route.

Would love to do this. There is basically nothing going on around here for runners so this is a great idea.

FINALLY. Deeside needs a decent half marathon course. Hope u can get it sorted with the council soon.
