Former Congresswoman and mass shooting victim Gabby Giffords came to Newtown, CT to comfort the grieving families of the Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy.  Connecticut State Representative DebraLee Hovey, who represents Monroe and part of Newtown, posted on her facebook page "Gabby Gifford (sic) stay out of my towns!!!" 

The comments of DebraLee Hovey demand her prompt resignation.  Her insensitive remarks are not the remarks of an upstanding public servant.  Please sign this petition to demand State Representative DebraLee Hovey's immediate resignation.
