Final supporters
As you may or may not be aware, new Rockets Owner Tilman Fertitta has expressed interest in bringing an NHL franchise to Houston. Awesome right!! We would like to get ahead of this by starting a petition to show our support. We already have a strong hockey community in Houston and the addition of an NHL team would only add to that. Looking at the model Dallas has laid out and proven that hockey can be very successful in Texas, we can do the same in Houston. Since the Stars moved to Dallas 25 years ago youth hockey has exploded in Dallas. They have far more kids enrolled in minor hockey and far better facilities than we do. With the addition of an NHL team, Houston could follow suit and grow the game here.
We may think we are a long way away from anything concrete happening but if we can show Tilman that there is a large demand for NHL hockey in Houston he might be that much more inclined to pursue a franchise sooner rather than later. As he stated in his press conference when asked about acquiring an NHL team, “Will we be aggressive? Yes. That’s my nature.”
First and foremost, PLEASE sign the petition to demonstrate your support in bringing NHL hockey to Houston!!
And to take it one step further, although not the primary objective of this petition, IF you are interested, if you can, please indicate if you would go to any or many of the games and/or identify the number of seats you might be interested in for season tickets if bringing NHL hockey to Houston is something that you are passionate about!!

Houston should get the 32nd NHL franchise. The Central Division needs one more city and a Houston-Dallas rivalry, a brand new NHL Texas rivalry, would be awesome for the league! Please bring the Aeros into the NHL!
Suitable arena, top 10 media market, diverse population, large corporate base, devoted hockey community, etc. Plenty of strong arguments to finally get an NHL team in Houston.
Please consider acquiring an NHL franchise for the city of Houston. The fourth largest city in the USA should be represented in the five major sports leagues of which the NHL is the only one lacking. It would be exciting to have the regional rivalries in hockey as we have in the other sports.
I love the game, I still play and coach a youth hockey program here in Houston. I also have two young boys who play and also love the game, only 6 & 7, what a great opportunity for them see the possibility of having the NHL come here.
Grew up playing travel hockey in Houston and having an NHL team would benefit everyone. Depending on when this would happen I would be interested in season tickets up to 6 tickets.
Season ticket purchaser immediately when Houston gets a team!
No doubt in my mind that a Houston NHL team will be hugely successful!

Dear Mr. Fertitta, Congratulations on your acquisition of the Houston Rockets. We just wanted to let you know that an NHL team is long overdue in the nation's 4th largest city and that if a team does come to Houston, there's little choice for a name other than the Aeros! We are looking forward to acquiring season tickets. Mario & Sue
