This petition was formed in recent light of relocation possibilities within the NHL. Portland, Oregon has long been a candidate for relocation and the time is now to make that happen. We have what would be a top venue in the Rose Garden and a city that shows strong support for its sports teams. Having an entertainment option like this will naturally draw attention and bring people and revenue to the city, helping businesses in the process, as well as generating more activity around the Rose Quarter. It would also come at no cost to the taxpayer. The best way to give an impression is for there to be enthusiasm from the public, so we can build a case and show teams that they will feel welcomed. Come on people, let's make this happen!
