The general change in our shopping habits means we need to actively encourage people to shop in our town centre. With this in mind and following discussions with local businesses we (Colwyn Bay Chamber of Trade, Colwyn Bay Town Team and Colwyn Bay Business Network) believe that Colwyn Bay would benefit from Station Road being de-pedestrianised. This would allow shoppers to be able park their cars for a short time while they carry out their shopping.
The first step in the process of this happening is to show Conwy County Borough Council that it'something that people actually want. So, if you would like to see Station Road opened up once more please sign our petition.
