November 11, 2008 To the Management of Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival: We, the undersigned, are writing in support of Dave Willey. We are saddened by the news that the management of Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival is making the decision to replace Dave. After 25 years of service to the organization, we feel that Dave deserves better consideration. Dave is a member of the Pillow Family. His loss to the Pillow Community will be huge. We ask that you reconsider this decision. The Pillow has a reputation for being a loving and compassionate place for all people. We would hope that you would live up to this reputation and find a better way to make ends meet during this difficult time.
