The authorities have finally prioritized the repairs and the work on our roads is currently underway. I am relieved that our families back home will soon be able to travel without the constant fear of accidents. We will keep checking the construction quality to ensure the job is done right …

Final supporters
Dear Sir,
We are the citizens of Mangalpady Panchayat residing in the UAE.
Mangalpady Panchayat is located in the Northern region of the district Kasaragod.
There arevariousroads in our Panchayat which are not in a condition even for walking. Causes a reason for many accidents. The vehicles on our roads are getting damaged because of this. The travelling time from one place to another becomes double than the actual time. The emergency services like ambulances and fire forces are not able to reach on time to the targeted destinations because of the holes and patches on these roads. The situation is so worst which we are not even able to express.
The history of our roads are not at all good. We do not know why it is like that.
"Sometimes we felt like we are not a part of the state Kerala"...!
Hereby we with hundreds of signatures in this petition, would like to request you to do the necessary and immediate action to overcome the above mentioned problem.

Seeing this much support for our home back in Mangalpady leaves me completely speechless. It proves that despite the distance we all feel the pain of those crumbling roads and the danger they pose to our families.

My family back in Mangalpady deserves to travel those roads without risking their lives every single day. We are nearing a hundred signatures but we need a final push to force the authorities to finally look at the damage we are suffering.

My bike is ruined from these potholes. Every single day I have to dodge craters just to get to work. Fix this before someone gets killed.
The panchayat is sleeping while our cars fall apart. Been like this for way to long.
Ridiculous condition of the roads. Totally agree.
Emergency vehicles cant even pass through. It is a absolute shame that we have to live with these roads in 2017. Please do something.
Its dangerous for kids to even walk to school. My son fell off his cycle twice now because of the gravel and holes.
