We are starting a petition to try to get an ordinance passed to allow us to drive our golf carts around town. Do you want to be able to get around town and save gas money? Think of all the fuel you would save! Then lets work together to make this happen. Most other communities around us are already doing this. Help us overcome this challenge.

I have spent the last few afternoons talking with neighbors who are just as frustrated as I am about the current lack of options for getting around town. It is clear that so many of us are ready for a change that helps our budgets and simplifies our daily trips.

Seeing this momentum grow reminds me how much our town wants simple transit options that actually save us money at the pump. It feels good to know so many of my neighbors see the same potential for Paris that I do.

Yes I want to be able to use a golf cart if i wish. Saving any amount of money for us senior citizens can be very important like medication and food.
Gas prices are crazy right now, it just makes sense to use the cart for quick trips to the store instead of the truck.
Never say never Jason. We are a determind bunch not to mention we are already working with the city on this.
We have dui bikes and electric wheel chairs on our streets. I feel we should be able to use our carts and class 1 UTV
I completely support this petition & think that it would be a fantastic , forward thinking idea that would put Paris ahead of the curve verses falling behind its counterparts.
Let's do this.

ABOUT TIME. Charleston allows it so why cant we? My grandkids would love riding along to the park.
