The city officials who ignored our safety concerns for months can no longer pretend this isn't a massive issue for our neighborhood. We have real momentum behind us now and it is time for them to stop stalling on this crosswalk.

What happened in Leaside should be an alarm in all Toronto neighbourhoods, where there are schools. Don't let that happen to any more of our precious children.
traffic on mortimer is getting insane lately. i have to cross here with my kids every day and half the cars dont even slow down for the school zone. scary stuff.
