Residents of River Ridge subdivision on Lake Oliver in southeastern Lee County are very concerned about the condition of streets within River Ridge (LCRs 605-613 and Lee County Road 315 that is the only access road to the subdivision).  Roads 605 - 613 were deeded to Lee County in the late 1980’s and have seen very little significant maintenance since.  The occasional gravel and wet tar repairs that have taken place serve only as temporary, unsightly fixes.  Our streets have potholes, shoulder erosion, badly faded to non-existent striping, jagged road surface edges, and water damaged road surfaces that are less than safe, unsightly, and serve to negatively impact neighborhood property values.  River Ridge subdivision represents a significant tax asset for Lee County and we, the petitioners, request that the Commission take action to resurface and re-stripe our roads to help us protect that asset.

My tires are getting eaten up by these potholes. Lee County needs to step up and fix what they own already.

We have been asking for years and just get a bucket of gravel thrown in a hole. Enough is enough.

About time someone looked at this. The shoulder erosion is getting so bad it is going to ruin the drainage soon.
