At Lincoln School Districts, they try to keep all students comfortable and valid. That is, up until computers. Most computers have the birth/legal name of an individual student, which might make some under the transgender umbrella upset. It apparently cannot be changed due to the name being the legal, or birth-name, and that is why I am creating this petition. This petition is to unblock gender affirming extentions, much like this and this. They would help us by helping us feel more like ourselves. I myself, as a transgender student here, don't like seeing my birth name on the computer. I know it can't be helped totally, but I would at least want to see the change for my computer, and I know some others would too. Come on, Lincoln, we know you're better than this.
