Over the last week and this week, I’ve been at a coding camp for machine learning and neural networks. I hoped to get a decent background of coding, enough to explore further on my own. Unfortunately, I ended up with an awful teacher and have been miserable every day. I learned very little the first week and all we did was copy and paste lines of code. This week is designated for a project. The project was simply re-doing what we already have done with a new data set. I finished the project in a day and just sat in front of the computer for hours. There is not much else to be done in the class as the time for teaching is over and the final project is done. Since there’s not much else to do, I feel as though my time will be spent doing unproductive things on a computer for 8 hours.
