The company formally withdrew the contract proposal and agreed to include Department Managers and abolish the two-tier structure. We have successfully secured the terms outlined in the initial petition. I will monitor the implementation phase to ensure these commitments are fully reflected in the final document.

We are approaching the 250 signature threshold which I will use to formally request a sit down with the negotiation committee. Please direct this link to colleagues in your department to ensure we hit that target before we submit the request.

All department managers should be able stay with the union. We gotta stay UNION STRONG. Let's get rid of the 2 tier.

They can't staff the stores now. The people they do hire quit within a week. And they are asking for concessions.

Single income families need to be able to survive and we are not able to afford to live in Colorado with the current contract, the company threatening to lock us out and turn in our keys this Saturday is ridiculous and it is disgusting that a company that boasts feeding the human spirit is crippling the spirit of its workers

I've worked here for two and a half years. I know how to do inventory, I've pulled 13 hour shifts, and I work my tail off for a part time job. If they only bump me up high enough in wages to satisfy the federal minimum, it'll tell me a lot about how much they value their workers.

Yes to all of this. Colorado has become too expensive to stay at these wages. When I topped out I made double minimum wage. Ever since we passed the minimum wage law, it has only made our cost of living increase, while the last contract did nothing to deal with this. If retention and "feeding the human spirit" are important to the company, we need a contract that entices people to stay on long term, and a job that will provide sustainable income for Colorado's ever increasing cost of living.

first day sick pay all the way. I shouldn't have to use vacation time because I got sick and couldn't go to work. I earned that sick pay, I should be able to use it when I need it.
