THE PETITION To: The BC Provincial Government, PO BOX 9041, STN PROV GOVT, VICTORIA, BC V8W 9E1 and Residents of the District of Sechelt I/We the undersigned fully support the District of Sechelt’s decision to proceed with construction of our new wastewater treatment facility. We are satisfied that: 1. The District of Sechelt has followed a professional and comprehensive process that resulted in selecting the solution proposed by Maple Reinders, 2. The Maple Reinders solution is affordable for Sechelt and will be best for the community, 3. The location chosen by engineering experts at Maple Reinders will make a positive contribution to the local neighbourhood, 4. That the financing for the facility is in place, 5. That there has been adequate transparency and consultation throughout the process. We also note that Sechelt citizens will benefit from approximately $10 million in work that will come to the community from this project. Accordingly, we request that the construction of the planned wastewater treatment facility proceeds immediately and that all funding remains in place.
