Construction - both indoor and outdoor - has been starting as early as 5:55am at Scio (901 and 903 S Ashland Ave). The construction team does not have an early start permit, and it is against city ordinance for them to begin construction prior to 8:00am.
Conversations with Scio's leasing office have been unproductive, so we have begun speaking with the Chicago Police Department about the noise. They have stated that the best way to ensure law enforcement intervenes is by starting a petition to demonstrate how many people this has affected.

A few days ago, at 6:30am, a worker was re-painting my balcony. Luckily, my blinds were closed but really?!?! painting at 6:30am when people are getting ready to go to work, is just ridiclous
For middle section, they come around 6am. Next time I am going to call Police for sure.
Thank you for this. The noise is very disturbing. I get woken up almost everyday.
Pretty loud
I am consistently woken up in the mornings, oftentimes around 6am or 7am. I would not be surprised if others are also being woken up as the construction can be very loud.
I have been woken up NUMEROUS days between 6 and 8 am
