The Florida Department of Agriculture, Department of Licensing is refusing to open regional offices for CCW applications. This has blocked the legal path to carrying a concealed firearm or weapon for self defense. During a time of civil unrest, violence, great concern and fear, Floridians who are seeking the legal means to carry are put in the precarious position of choosing between their personal safety and abiding by current Florida law. Florida should abide by the U.S. Constitution and join 16 other states by restoring the full unabridged right of the people to "keep and bear arms."
